Sacramento Friends Meeting holds First Day School for young children every Sunday during worship. Children meet with a teacher and assistant teacher from 10:00 to 10:45 and then join in worship closing and announcements.
The First Day School Committee oversees the children’s program. The Worship and Ministry Committee oversees the youth program. All Friends who participate as teachers or volunteers receive training to meet the requirements of the Meeting’s Policy on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention.
