At Sacramento Friends Meeting, we gather in silence to commune with the divine presence in our midst. We listen to God without the assistance of clergy or prepared liturgy. Each of us finds our own way to center into the silence and drop away the cares of the week. As we join in expectant, spirit-led waiting, we often experience a shared sense of connection with the holy. Sometimes the entire hour of worship may be filled with a rich and peaceful silence. Often, the spirit moves one of us to give a message. Each message is followed with a generous period of quiet reflection.
